NextGen Mentor - Abigail Estrada-Hernandez

 Abigail Estrada-Hernandez is a cybersecurity researcher, digital strategist, and policy advocate focused on advancing secure, equitable, and community-centered technology. A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and current Staffer, she has contributed to initiatives at the White House Office of Digital Strategy, Target, and now the Illinois Senate. Her interests sit at the intersection of cybersecurity and social impact, with an emphasis on shaping responsible technology policy and protecting diverse communities. Abigail is committed to building inclusive digital ecosystems and cultivating the next generation of technology and policy leadership. She will be pursuing a master's in cybersecurity in the fall and has served in the inaugural cohort of NextGen Scholars for Change.
