Advisory Board Member - Bob McMurray

Bob McMurray serves as the Director of the Illinois Alumni Association of Alpha Delta Phi

Bob McMurray has transitioned his decades of experience as an executive in the software industry to initiatives impacting the development of university undergraduates. He developed and administers a progressive Scholarship and Fellowship program for University of Illinois undergraduates which provide opportunities for these students to enhance life skills they will need as emerging, independent adults. Mr. McMurray has served on a number of Boards of Directors helping provide executive guidance on undergraduate philanthropy and academics. Mr. McMurray was awarded the University of Illinois Interfraternity Council's "Advisor of the Year" for 2024. Mr. McMurray is excited to be able to serve on the Advisory Board for NextGen Scholars for Change and help contribute to its growth trajectory. Beyond his executive leadership Mr. McMurray is an author of books exploring North American immigration, is the music director and pianist for his jazz quintet, and an active associate of organizations providing positive bedside experiences for hospitalized children.
