NextGen Mentor - Danielle Velasquez

Danielle Velasquez is an enthusiastic leader with a passion for fostering supportive, inclusive environments for minorities. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Danielle has always been around a diverse environment and strives to strengthen the communities that have shaped her journey. Currently a Peer Advisor at the University of Iowa, Danielle is committed to paving a way for others and being a resource for students as they look for careers after college. Understanding the challenges that come with being a first-generation student, she is passionate about offering guidance and support to those navigating the college application process.
