Sabena Byerly is a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biology and Criminal Justice. Driven by a deep commitment to community and public service, she has volunteered for several years with the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), working to empower underserved communities through education, advocacy, and civic engagement. Her passion for civil service was further ignited during an internship with Congresswoman Delia Ramirez’s constituent services team, where she witnessed the challenges many people face in accessing government support. Motivated to make a difference, she went on to serve as a Field Organizer for the Congresswoman’s campaign and now works full-time as a Communications and Finance Associate. Sabena is dedicated to turning her experiences, both in the community and in government, into meaningful change that brings resources, representation, and opportunity to those who need it most.
