Advisory Board Member - Juan Carlos Linares

Juan Carlos Linares serves as the President & CEO of Association House of Chicago

 Juan Carlos Linares is a non-profit executive, attorney, and civic leader with a career spanning more than 24 years across non-profit, government, and public service sectors. He currently serves as President & CEO of Association House of Chicago, where he leads one of the region’s largest historic settlement organizations in advancing health, education, and workforce development initiatives for underserved, multicultural communities.


Previously, Juan Carlos served as the City of Chicago’s first Chief Engagement Officer and as Executive Director of LUCHA, a Chicago-based affordable housing development organization. He has also held numerous civic leadership and advisory roles at the local, state, and federal levels, including past Chairman of the Illinois Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and several mayoral appointments to key Chicago commissions. 


Juan Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Juris Doctor from DePaul University, a Master of Laws from The UIC School of Law, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
