Born in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and raised in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin community, Bianca is a proud first-generation student who draws inspiration from her single mother and a network of resilient women who prioritized her education.
With the support of her family and The Dream.US Scholarship, Bianca recently graduated from Dominican University with a Bachelor of Arts in
International Relations and Diplomacy and Italian, alongside a minor in Theology. Her academic excellence earned her the Distinguished Senior Award in both majors and the prestigious 2023-2024 Lincoln Laureate Award, recognizing leadership, service, and academic achievement.
Bianca’s unwavering dedication to service, both at her university and within the broader community, also earned her the prestigious 2023-2024 Lincoln Laureate Award. This award, given to one outstanding senior from each four-year degree-granting institution in Illinois, honors leadership, service, and excellence in both academic and extracurricular activities.
