Director of Operations, Victoria Gomez

Victoria Gomez, the Director of Operations of NextGen Scholars for Change focuses on building partnerships and developing strategic outreach for the organization. She is a third-year student at DePaul University, in Chicago, Illinois,  majoring in Political Science with minors in Latino/a Studies, and Public Policy.

Victoria is passionate about underrepresented communities and advocating for equitable education for all. Her Title I K-12 Education has pushed her to educate herself on the educational system and work to provide greater opportunities for all students no matter their backgrounds. She plans to pursue graduate school in the Fall of 2026 focused on Public Administration or Public Policy, but as a first gen student, she sees the importance of being open to new opportunities.

As part of the team, Victoria works to develop partnerships with local schools, organizations, and programs in the state of Illinois to provide NextGen Scholars with opportunities to enhance their experiences and develop awareness of the possibilities they have for their future.
